Live Fire Trauma Care
$300.00
This hands-on course teaches practical trauma care for real-world emergencies—perfect for beginners, anyone looking to refresh their skills, and first responders. No medical background required.
This course was designed to give students a intro or refresher on tactical medicine and shooting fundamentals. It is not common to experience an environment where both topics are covered like this, so we decided to collaborate with Buckeye TacMed to give our students an experienced outlook on the medical side of things. Joe Schuerger (the owner of Buckeye TacMed) is a Firefighter/Paramedic and Tactical Emergency Medical Support (TEMS) medic with experience in tactical/operational medicine. As the lead medic for a multi-jurisdictional SWAT team, Joe specializes in providing life-saving care during critical incidents. He serves as a liaison for over 22 SWAT teams across Northeast Ohio through a major hospital system, bridging the gap between tactical operations and advanced medical support. Given Joe’s experience in tactical medicine, it will be very beneficial for students, as he is an excellent source to bring knowledge to a course like this.
